New FAA STC for Mühlbauer

QFJ 5-blade MTV-27 on Cessna 208 Blackhawk now also with PT6A-140 engine

Atting, November 2018: MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH has received the FAA STC SA3959NY for the next generation 5-blade Quiet Fan Jet scimitar composite propeller MTV-27-1-E-C-F-R(P)/CFR245-55a on the Cessna 208, 208B Blackhawk with the engines Pratt & Whitney PT6A-42A and new with Pratt & Whitney PT6A-140.

This installation is also supplemental type certified by EASA STC 10058942 Rev.1 and ANAC Brazil STC 10058942 Rev1.



The QFJ 5-blade MTV-27 prop is now also certified for the Cessna 208 Blackhawk with PT6A-140 engine

MT-Propeller Vice President Martin Albrecht announces, that the installation of the 5-blade QFJ Propeller on the Cessna 208, 208B Blackhawk features the following advantages:

• With optional rpm reduction to 1950 rpm (only for XP42): All models comply with the strict German noise regulations 2010– „Landeplatz-Lärmschutz-Verordnung“ for unrestricted airport operation in Germany and other European Countries.
• With the XP140 installation: All models comply with the strict German noise regulations 2010– „Landeplatz-Lärmschutz-Verordnung“ for unrestricted airport operations in Germany and other European Countries.
