EASA STC for 4-blade MT prop on Cirrus SR22

Optional RPM reduction to max 2500 RPM

Atting, November 2022 - MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH has received the EASA STC 10038566 REV 5 for installing the 4-blade MTV-14 Propeller in combination with a MT-Propeller governor on the Cirrus SR22/SR22T and SR22 with RPM Reduction to 2500 RPM (presently only for non-G1000 equipped aircraft).



MT-Propeller have received the EASA STC for installing their 4-blade MTV-14 Propeller in combination with a MT-Propeller governor on the Cirrus SR22/SR22T and SR22 with RPM Reduction to 2500 RPM.

MT-Propeller Vice President Martin Albrecht says, that the installation features the following advantages:

- Turbine smooth, vibration free propeller operations

- Replaceable stainless steel leading edge for best erosion protection of the blades

- Improved engine cooling

- Enhanced climb performance and shorter take-off distance: (2700 RPM-Version only)

- Increased static thrust (2700 RPM-Version only)

- Enhanced cruise performance

- Unlimited blade life, Lower cost overhaul and No AD’s

- SR22T and SR22 (2500 RPM version) comply with the strict German Noise Regulation “Landeplatz Lärmschutz Verordnung” for unrestricted airport operations in Germany and other European Countries.

The long time proven MT-Propeller natural composite blades provide significant inside and outside noise reduction. They have no life limitation and are repairable in case of an FOD.
