A new EASA STC allows for the installation of MT Propeller’s 3-blade constant speed Prop on the Beech B24R and C24R.
MT-Propeller Vice President Martin Albrecht says, that the installation feature the following advantages:

Bonded on stainless steel leading edge for best erosion protection on the blades
Up to 7 kg (15 lbs) less weight than the original propeller
Unlimited blade life
Increased ground clearance for less blade tip erosion

Atting, May 2026 - MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH received the EASA STC 10088128, FAA STC SA12227IB and TCCA Canada SA26-39 for the installation of the scimitar 3-blade MTV-9-B/188-50() propeller on the Cirrus Model SR20 powered by a Lycoming IO-390-C3B6 engine.
