Marcus Extra New German Unlimited Freestyle Aerobatic Champion

The 2024 German National Championship concluded on July 1st, 2024 at Welzow Airport. Much applause and congratulations were showered on the new German Champion in this extremely demanding discipline, and it comes as little surprise that his name continues the long and legendary family tradition of the house of Extra.

 

    Marcus Extra is the new 2024 German Unlimited Freestyle Aerobatic Champion. He flew to victory in an Extra SX from the family's own production line.  

The new champion's name is Marcus Extra, whose father Walter established this remarkable success story, unique in the annals of aviation history, as a design engineer of high performance aerobatic aircraft, having stood on the podium many times himself during his long career as a competition pilot.

Our congratulations go to Marcus as the new 2024 German Unlimited Freestyle Aerobatic Champion. Not only did he win the title with his amazing achievement, but he also demonstrated impressively the unrivaled potential of the [ Extra SX|https://extraaircraft.com/330sx/] from the family's own production line.
