EASA STC for Gogo Galileo HDX-antenna installed in Embraer’s Phenom 300
Bremen, 25.03.2025 - Atlas Air Service AG, in cooperation with design organisation FTI Engineering Network GmbH, has developed the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the Gogo Galileo HDX-antenna for the Phenom 300. Following successful installation and testing on a Phenom 300 the STC has now been issued by EASA.
Atlas and FTI are the first companies globally to have been given a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for installing the Gogo Galileo HDX-antenna on the Phenom 300.

The satellite-based Internet system from US-based Gogo provides an ultra-fast and stable Internet connection with constant speeds in the range of up to 60 Mbps via the Eutelsat OneWeb Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite network.?In cooperation with Gogo, FTI Engineering Network GmbH and ASR Aviation Services Reinhard e.K., customers can now order the installation at the service centre in Bremen as well as at the service centres of the subsidiaries in Augsburg and Altenrhein, Switzerland. Depending on the configuration, allow approximately 10 working days for the installation of the system.
As distribution partners of Gogo, Atlas and FTI will also offer the Gogo Galileo hardware including STC to other maintenance organizations in the future.
Partnering with FTI, Atlas is developing another STC for the Cessna Citation CJ series and has begun installing the system on a CJ1. EASA certification is expected in the second quarter of 2025. In addition, validation of the developed STCs (for Phenom 300 and CJ1) is being sought with the FAA, ANAC, TCAA and others.
