EASA STC for MT’s 4-blade prop for Cessna 404/406

MT-Propeller Vice President Martin Albrecht says, that the installation feature the following advantages:
- Enhanced take-off distance by approx. 5% (MTOW, SL, ISA)
- Enhanced climb by approx. 3% (MTOW, ISA)
- Cruise performance increased by approx. 3 to 4 kts (Mid GW, ISA)
- Approx. 4 lbs less weight than the original propellers
- Inside noise is reduced by 3 to 4 dB(A)

MT-Propeller have obtained an EASA STC for the installation of their 4-blade MTV-16-1-E-C-F/CF225-37a Propeller on the Cessna 404/406.
The long time proven MT-Propeller natural composite blades provide significant inside and outside noise reduction. They have no life limitation and are repairable in case of a FOD. They also provide best vibration damping characteristics for almost vibration free propeller operation and have bonded on nickel alloy leading edges for superior erosion protection of the blades.

In Germany, Bristell’s B23-912iS, a beautifully lined two-seater from the Czech Republic, is marketed and supported by BRISTELL Sales and Service GmbH. The aircraft comes under the “Echo” class in Germany and has been certified by EASA under their regulation CS23 with an MTOW of 750 kg.
