EASA STC for Beech B23 and C23 with 3-blade MT-Propeller MTV-18

Atting, August 2025 - MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH received the EASA STC 10086864 for the installation of the 3-blade natural composite propeller MTV-18-B/183-59( ) on the Beech B23 and C23 powered by a Lycoming O-360-A2G (B23) or O-360-A2G, -A4G, -A4J, -A4K (C23).

The FAA STC is in progress.



MT-Propeller have obtained an EASA STC for the installation of the 3-blade natural composite propeller MTV-18-B/183-59( ) on the Beech B23 and C23.

MT-Propeller Vice President Martin Albrecht says, that the installation feature the following advantages:

- Shorter ground roll by 10%

- Shorter take-off 50 ft by 5%

- Increased ground clearance for less blade tip erosion

- Unlimited blade life

- Bonded on stainless steel leading edge for best erosion protection on the blades

- Best vibration damping characteristics for almost vibration free propeller operations
