Thanks to its decades of technical expertise in maintaining Beechcraft and Cessna aircraft, and its extensive experience in special mission conversions, Atlas is the perfect partner for Textron Aviation. Conversions for these aircraft types can now also be carried out at the Bremen Servicecenter, enabling tailor-made solutions for a wide range of special applications.

Special mission aircraft are used for airborne intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), maritime patrols, border control, search and rescue (SAR), flight inspections, air ambulance services, atmospheric research, aerial surveys, training and government flights. In addition to converting aircraft for the aforementioned areas of application, Atlas Air Service is authorized to integrate complex Textron Aviation manufacturer kit installations such as Extended Nose, Drop Hatch or Extended Range (ER) at its Bremen location. As an Authorized Sales Representative for Special Mission Aircraft, Atlas Air Service is also authorized to sell these customized special mission aircraft.

The FAA STC is in progress.
