EASA STC for MT’s scimitar 4-blade Prop

News

Atting, June 2026 - MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH has received the EASA STC 10038720 R4 for the installation of the 4-blade scimitar composite propeller MTV-14-D/195-30b on the Cessna T210K and T210L in addition to the already certified P210N, P210R, T210M, T210N, T210R powered by TCM TSIO-520-P, -R, -CE, -AF engines. The addition of the T210K and T210L to the FAA STC SA00925WI is in progress.

MT-Propeller received the EASA STC 10038720 R4 for the installation of the 4-blade scimitar composite propeller MTV-14-D/195-30b on the Cessna T210K and T210L.

MT-Propeller Vice President Martin Albrecht says that the installation features the following advantages:

- 5% better climb

- 3 to 5kts faster in cruise

- best vibration damping characteristics for almost vibration free propeller operation

- bonded on nickel alloy leading edges for superior erosion protection of the blades

- the scimatar blades have an unbeatable esthetic ramp appeal

- can be operated in Switzerland in the lowest noise category

- also certified without rpm restriction.

Due to the smaller diameter, the MT-Propeller for the Cessna ()210() Series has more ground clearance for less blade tip erosion and FODs.

The long-time proven MT-Propeller natural composite blades provide significant inside and outside noise reduction. They have no life limitation and are repairable in case of an FOD.
