With kind permission by AOPA Germany we publish here an excerpt from AOPA Germany’s newsletter no. 357 dated December 8th. 2023. It addresses alleged problems with Rotax engines which, at this point, seem hard to explain in terms of their frequency and possible causes. At this time, relevant reports by aircraft owners and/or operators are sought in order to obtain a clearer picture.
