Friedrichshafen, October 15, 2026 – AERO 2027 (April 14–17, 2027) will provide a greater profile for helicopters, building on the success of AERO 2026, organisers Fairnamic confirmed today. Helicopters (executive, GA and utility) will feature in three connected areas of AERO, Europe’s largest trade show for General Aviation, Business Aviation and Air Sports as the scope of the whole event widens.

On September 30, 2026, a very special anniversary was celebrated in a relaxed atmosphere—complete with grilled sausages and drinks—at the Osnabrück-Atterheide airfield (EDWO). War has returned to Europe—everyone knows it, everyone feels it. Then-German-Chancellor Olaf Scholz delivered his famous "Zeitenwende" (watershed moment) speech during a special session of the German Bundestag on February 27, 2022. Indeed, the geopolitical landscape has shifted significantly since then due to Russia’s war against Ukraine—as well as changes in US foreign policy. Four years after that announced turning point, planned measures by the Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces) are now beginning to have concrete impacts on routine General Aviation operations in Germany.

Atting, July 2026 - MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH have received the FAA STC SA12438IB for the installation of their "Silent 7" 7-blade propeller MTV-37-1-E-C-F-R(P)/CFR205-353( ) in Piper’s PA46-600TP and PA46-701TP aircraft, powered by the Pratt & Whitney propeller turbines PT6A-42A in PA-46-600TP and PT6A-52 in PA-46-701TP. This installation is already supplemental type certified by EASA’s STC 10089486.
A successful AOPA Fly-In at Stadtlohn-Vreden brought together pilots, organisations and aviation businesses from both sides of the Dutch-German border. On 4 July, Flugplatz Stadtlohn-Vreden (EDLS) hosted a well-attended AOPA Fly-In that demonstrated both the diversity of General Aviation and the value of cooperation across national borders.

History: The aircraft has been registered in Germany as D-EMOA since new (1988). All available maintenance, airworthiness and modification records consistently show the German registration D-EMOA, with no indication of any previous foreign registration or registration change.
At least two owners are documented in the available records. The aircraft has been operated in private, non-commercial use throughout its service life.
Damage History: A gear-up landing occurred in 2005. The related inspection and repair work is documented in the aircraft maintenance records.
