We’re proud to present exclusively this beautiful and well looked after 2005 Enstrom 280FX available for sale. The aircraft is currently based in Spain but registered in Switzerland where tax have been paid for. Owned and operated by a private individual.
The 280FX delivers excellent performance, an enviable safety record, and low direct operating costs. The turbocharged power plant provides excellent high-altitude performance. The high inertia, fully articulated rotor system provides safety and stability, as well as a smooth ride and exceptional autorotation capabilities.
With a maximum take-off weight of 1179 kg and a cruising speed of 90knt this is an all-round practicable rotorcraft.
The engine has been overhauled by the end of 2018 and has just 180hrs SOH, engine TBO is 1500hrs or 12/2030.
Components have great remaining times; Airwolf TT straps have been installed 04/2024
