Atting, July 2026 - MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH have received the FAA STC SA12438IB for the installation of their "Silent 7" 7-blade propeller MTV-37-1-E-C-F-R(P)/CFR205-353( ) in Piper’s PA46-600TP and PA46-701TP aircraft, powered by the Pratt & Whitney propeller turbines PT6A-42A in PA-46-600TP and PT6A-52 in PA-46-701TP. This installation is already supplemental type certified by EASA’s STC 10089486.

The addition of the T210K and T210L to the FAA STC SA00925WI is in progress.

Friedrichshafen – AERO 2026 (April 22–25, 2026) – the 32nd edition of the world’s leading trade show for general aviation, business aviation, and air sports – has set new records. A total of 860 exhibitors from 50 countries were represented at AERO, more than ever before. Visitor numbers also saw an increase: With around 37,000 visitors from 88 countries over the four days of the show, the figure from the previous year’s event (2025: 32,100) was once again significantly exceeded. Maintenance: In June 2026, an extensive scheduled maintenance event was completed at 3,752:22 hours total time. The work included the 100-hour, 200-hour, 600-hour and 12-month inspections, together with comprehensive inspections of the airframe, wing structure, landing gear, engines, propellers, avionics and aircraft systems.
Both engines underwent cylinder borescope inspections, differential compression tests, oil and filter changes, exhaust system inspections, crankshaft corrosion inspections, magneto inspections and checks of the RAM induction, fuel injection and turbocharger systems. The right-hand fuel metering unit and the hydraulic emergency blowdown bottle were replaced.
Current oil analysis results for both engines indicate no abnormal wear. The Airworthiness Review Certificate is valid until 26 May 2027.
