FLN – “The Island Hoppers“
The German commercial air travel company FLN Frisia Luftverkehr which services the islands in the North Sea, have announced that they are working on a forward-looking project for national air transport. Following the example set by its mother company, AG Reederei Norden-Frisia, FLN too intends to make the next step towards electric powered future air transport. To this end, a joint venture company has been founded together with Munich-based aircraft manufacturer Scylax GmbH.

Scylax founders Calin Gologan and Rosario De Luca are following their vision to establish electrically powered flight in commercial aviation. By teaming up with FLN, another important step towards the shared goal of acquiring a leading role in commercial aerial island service has been achieved.
