First students graduate from new degree course

University of German Armed Forces

In a ceremony on February 5th, 2020, the first four students of Germany’s Armed Forces University in Munich received their Bachelor Degrees for finishing their studies. This very special event marked the successful completion of the first class in the academy’s new degree course Aeronautical Engineering.

What makes this new course unique is its dual form where the academic part is combined with the students’ flight training. Upon their graduation, students will therefore receive not only their Bachelor Degree of Engineering, but their pilot’s-, respectively crew-license at the same time.
