New Embraer Legacy 500 operated by Atlas Air Service

Atlas Air Service

The Embraer Legacy 500 arrived at Atlas Air Service in Bremen after its ferry flight with only one stopover from the manufacturer's factory in Melbourne (Florida). Atlas Air Service performed the technical review of the aircraft at the manufacturer, organized the transfer with its own pilots and took care of all necessary import, customs and registration formalities in Germany. The aircraft will now be used for charter operations. Despite the public holidays, the AOC integration was already completed in January.

Embraer's mid-size jet is equipped with efficient fly/brake-by-wire technology, Pro Line Fusion avionics and auto throttle. It has up to 12 passenger seats and a range of 5,788 km. Together with the long-range Praetor 600 version, the Legacy 500 is one of the most modern and fuel-efficient business jets available.

With this business jet, our customers can fly directly from Bremen to more than 600 European airports. In comparison only 30 destinations can be reached directly with scheduled flights. Through this time saving, flexibility and productive working time, our customers improve their competitiveness.

The family business Atlas Air Service is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and enjoys an excellent reputation as a business aviation specialist and full service provider in Europe. "In 50 years of company history, we have built up a unique competence for the best-selling aircraft brands Beechcraft, Cessna, King Air and Embraer on the market - which enables us to advise our customers comprehensively! All services for a complex aircraft purchase transaction come from a single source, including consulting, purchase brokerage, certification, maintenance, aircraft management and charter flight operations, if desired", says Hans Doll, Sales Director at Atlas Air Service AG.
