Air Alliance in new partnership with Italian aircraft manufacturer

Capua - Italy. TECNAM® is proud to announce their partnership with Air Alliance to market its ultimate twin engine Tecnam P2012 series for the sales territories in Germany and Austria.

Air Alliance, in business since 1993, is a large group offering different aviation services: sales, charters, maintenance and flight training. The P2012 will be the first turbocharged twin piston aircraft in the Air Alliance portfolio and it will join the fleet of Jets and Turbo Props of other prominent brands on the market. With the TECNAM P2012 Air Alliance will benefit from the unique specifications of the aircraft, widening and enriching its offer to potential customers in the region.

Comfortably accommodating nine passengers with one or two crew members, the Traveller is a new-generation, piston-powered, twin-engine, high-wing, fixed-landing-gear aircraft. The P2012 provides a cost-effective solution with various configuration options, whilst always offering a travel experience that exceeds the category standards with features like air-conditioning, in-seat power, wide leg room, separated in-fuselage cargo bay, and under-seat storage space.

Cutting-edge avionics by Garmin offers pilots all the information they require for day and night operations in VFR, IFR and PBN; the “SPACE” cockpit has been specifically designed to reduce pilot workload, for a safer and smarter mission accomplishment. For all these features the aircraft can be operated by a Single Pilot and in all-weather conditions including Flight In Known Icing (FIKI).

The P2012 series offers also Special Mission, Full Cargo, Combi and Air Ambulance.

A first P2012 Traveller with Airline configuration will be heading to Germany in the upcoming weeks as a demo for Germany/Austria territories.

“The P2012’s innovative design is ideal for regional airlines and smart operators” said Giovanni Pascale Langer, TECNAM Managing Director. “Aligning with Air Alliance, with its great experience in this market, it is a natural fit to provide German and Austrian customers with the support they need.”

“We are excited to begin this new partnership with Tecnam® “, said René Petersen – AIR ALLIANCE CEO. “We think the P2012 is the most modern piston engine of this category and it is the perfect fit to expand and complete our multi-brand offer”.

About TECNAM “Quality Aircraft since 1948”®

TECNAM’s roots go all the way back to the Italian brothers Luigi and Giovanni Pascale who began to develop and produce innovative aircraft soon after the end of WWII. Since those early beginnings, the family has continued to create original models, first gaining worldwide recognition under the name Partenavia, which translates as ” Naples Aviation”.

Costruzioni Aeronautiche TECNAM was established in March 1986 and now operates in two production facilities. The Casoria facility is located adjacent to Naples’ Capodichino International Airport while the main factory is next to the “Oreste Salomone” Airport in Capua. Recently new facilities were established in Sebring, Florida, USA and in Australia to serve and support the needs of Tecnam’s local owners and operators.
