f.u.n.k.e. more than happy with AERO 2022
Positive AERO résumé
Shortly after this year’s AERO 2022 in Friedrichshafen, Germany, AEROMARKT had the opportunity to talk to Dr. Thomas Wittig, Managing Director of the German avionics manufacturer f.u.n.k.e. AVIONICS GmbH, to ask him about his perception of AERO 2022. Europe’s leading show for General Aviation had been cancelled for the last two years in 2020 and in 2021 due to the pandemic, and was held once again this year with show guests having had to register online to obtain an admission ticket.
AERO 2022 has turned out to be a complete success for German avionics manufacturer f.u.n.k.e. AVIONICS GmbH under the auspices of Dr. Thomas Wittig (3rd from left).
Dr. Wittig said, “We have indeed been positively surprised as to the large numbers of people that attended, and it felt more than well to once again welcome our many partners and customers in person. According to our perception, we never before at any previous AERO had so many specific conversations with clients, dealers, OEMs (meaning ultralight manufacturers), and even competitors. We also never before recorded so many direct sales at the show. The debut of our new traffic monitoring system TM350 was a complete success showing impressively that this subject now enjoys top priority for most pilots.”
The show organizers around AERO “founding father” Roland Bosch, who ultimately passed the baton on to Tobias Bretzel this year, could not have hoped for a more positive appraisal from an important exhibitor at this year’s, newly risen show. Bosch will continue to support AERO as a Senior Consultant.
