Preparations in and with Bern Airport

The days are getting warmer and the second weekend in September is already a little in sight on the horizon. Preparations for the 6th edition of the Electrifly-In Switzerland on 10th & 11th September 2022 at the Swiss Air Force base at Bern Airport are in full swing. The cooperation with the Bern Airport team is professional, exciting and with a lot of positive energy.

The flight teams, third-party exhibitors, speakers for the symposium and eTalk have already been contacted and the organising committee is eagerly awaiting their feedback. This year's eTalk will focus on Swiss developments.?Our ambassador, Dominique Gisin, will be on site during the event weekend.

There is a fitted fly-in window for the eTrophy. The fly-in is from Friday afternoon 16:00LT to Sunday noon 12:00LT and the ranking ceremony will take place on Sunday afternoon at 14:00.

The 3 eras of aviation are presented in the static exhibition. A noise comparison between combustion engine and electric engine will (not) surprise you. Come and exchange ideas with the people present from the various development teams. They are looking forward to numerous visitors and exciting discussions

The opening hours for the Electrifly-In Switzerland 2022 are as follows:

Sa, 10 September 2022: 09:30 - 18:00 Su, 11 September 2022: 09:30 - 15:00

Admission for visitors is free (no registration necessary). Of course, patrons may make a contribution and purchase the exhibitor badge. For the symposium, admission costs a flat rate of CHF 10 ("lecture pass" obligatory).

The visitors' well-being will be complemented by various food trucks. You may look forward to interesting culinary delights. For the youngest visitors, there will be a supervised children's workshop on aviation. Try your luck at the competition or book a passenger flight with the Pipistrel Velis Electro.
