ProAir CO2-neutral in the future!

ProAir-Charter-Transport GmbH

“All our fares already include climate compensation, so our passengers fly climate-neutral. We are once again a pioneer in our industry, and we can be proud of that!”

Thomas Godau, Managing Director

Stuttgart/Filderstadt, October 1, 2021 - For climate protection reasons, CO? avoidance should take priority over other measures wherever possible. If CO? emissions cannot be avoided, measures should at least be taken to reduce emissions as much as possible.

ProAir-Charter-Transport GmbH made its operations climate-neutral and had them certified in September 2021.

ProAir-Charter-Transport GmbH made its operations climate-neutral and had them certified in September 2021.

We have achieved our climate neutrality through savings measures, the reduction of CO? emissions and by offsetting greenhouse gas emissions that cannot be further reduced through high-quality climate protection projects.

For this purpose, the CO? balance sheet was drawn up and the CO? footprint determined. The emissions calculated in this way, which include factors such as energy and water consumption, but also the commuting behaviour of all employees, are compensated annually. For this purpose, shares are acquired in global climate protection projects – certified according to gold standards – that aim to sustainably reduce greenhouse gases and support the UN’s climate goals.

You can find out more about sustainability at ProAir in our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
