Extra Aircraft Maintenance now Part CAO certified

Extra Aircraft Maintenance, a German aviation maintenance company located at the airfield of Dinslaken (EDLD), and a separate part of the well-known aircraft manufacturer, wish to inform you about their newly granted certification as a Part CAO organization.

As such, the company is now qualified for the registration of aircraft with an airworthiness certificate, as well as monitoring and inspecting the airworthiness of aircraft in Part ML and M up to 5,7t MTOW, non complex. Furthermore, servicing all of their own (Extra-) models inclusive of all maintenance in accordance with the capability list (C-Ratings) remains part of the company's service scope.

Servicing all Piper- and Cirrus models as well as N-registered aircraft is an additional offer to Extra Aircraft Maintenance customers. Expanding this part of the company's service range to other aircraft types is possible on short notice and upon request. Also, avionics upgrades including design and advice on panel layout are offered for all aircraft types- and models.

Brokering used aircraft as well as advice upon the planned acquisition of an aircraft (pre-buy inspection) for all aircraft types- and models within extended scope of approval for Extra Aircraft Maintenance round off the new service range.

Atting, May 2026 - MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH received the EASA STC 10089486 for the installation of the "Silent 7" 7-blade propeller MTV-37-1-E-C-F-R(P)/CFR205-353( ) on the Piper PA46-600TP and Piper PA46-701TP powered by the Pratt & Whitney propeller turbines PT6A-42A in PA-46-600TP and PT6A-52 in PA-46-701TP. The FAA STC is in progress.
